From America With Love (part 19)

Mr. Putin,

Good job putting those hooligans who were jumping up and down in the Cathedral in Moscow in prison.
In former Soviet union hooliganism was punishable for 1-3 years in prison. That's why maybe we had less people incarcerated, than so called free countries like America. They should get 3 and double it for "special circumstances" such as "desecration attempt," "blasphomy" and other things.
After 6 years they need a good beat up and be sent to monastery for the rest of their lives without permission to ever exit the country. That's would really send a massage.
You were right - they'd never do that in Israel or in Muslim areas in Northern Caucuses or around the world.

Best regards.

From America With Love (part 18)

Dear Vladimir Vladimirovich,

Congratulations on brilliant victory of Russian Judo in Olympics. It was so exciting!!!
For you being there, being a master of that sport and finally winning in Olympics was out of words to describe the fillings we had.
Not being avid sports fan in general, I was glowing in happiness, I can only imagine how ecstatic others who were personally involved could be!
But sweet part of it was hearing that you let the athletes to go home for the last day before departure and you personally visited them in their homes and spoke with their parents.
Of course it boasted their moral, there is no Q about it.
Congratulations again!

From America With Love (part 17)

Vladimir Vladimirovich,

I turned the Internet on this morning and saw black ribbons on top of the lowered Russian
flags. I saw the report from your office taking a minute of silence for those who died from
flood in southern Russia.
All day while working I prayed and prayed for those who perished and who survived.
May Lord comfort them and may you be the most help for deprived and distraught.
Deepest sympathies at this day of mourning.

Best regards.

From America With Love (part 16)

Dear Mr. President,

I'm closely watching the events in Moscow and in Russia generally. I saw opposition rallies, tried to understand who are they and what exactly do they want.
If they think that elections weren't fair in Russia, they should come here, check and compare to see which one was fairer.
I watched their interviews, one of them your dear ex-friend's daughter who got bored of her empty minded program, became overconfident of your protective connection, joined the streets and was interviewing one of your competitions and telling him she'll vote for him. Actually the one which I really like. Not as your competition, but in general - Mr.Prokhorov. He could be a good consultant on economy, if he'd be conservative in his political and social views.
This is just my personal take on it.
Now... I was reading that it was "so... unfair" to confiscate that hair-head (that's what they call them here) money, that it sounds like Russia is the worst place to be. It would sound funny, if it wouldn't be so sad and far from reality. Their thinking shows how ignorant and spoiled they are. As far as I'm concerned Russia and it's government allowed them to become rich. A little gratefulness could go far in these particular cases.
Let me just tell you 2 simple things, before I collect more and continue this topic.
If in New York I go and deposit $10,000.00 in cash or withdraw as much (which was deposited directly from my official work place), the bank legally can ask where I've got the money and why I'm withdrawing that much? And, after they will sent to IRS to investigate.
We had a democratic representative from south - William Jefferson, who got caught having $90,000 cash in his refrigerator.
May 4th of 2012 he went to prison for 13 years. All his life he worked and he was a known politician, he could say it was a gift.
But, in America more than $100 if check doesn't say it's a "gift" (which could be Q-ed again by law or by the court of public opinion) it considered a loan.
To me, I'm happy to see that 3 of you with Mr. Medvedev and the Patriarch are working together in harmony. There is nothing good for the nation, especially that big and diverse like Russia to be divided and be in constant disagreement and fight.
Also to me you're more liberal that I'd like. If religion and nationalism won't save you, liberalism will definitely poison you and destroy you from within as a nation and a culture.

Best regards.

From America With Love (part 15)

Dear Vladimir Vladimirovich,

Congratulations for becoming the President of Russian Federation!
Russia is in safe hands and hope you'll make it safer. I watched entire inauguration ceremony, which was beautiful.
I hope to see more smiling faces next time.
Too many people looked too serious. It is a serious occasion, but also a happy one.
Also hockey game was interesting the same evening. I watched that too and good for you for achieving mastery in it in such a short time.
Good luck!

Best regards and Love from America.

From America With Love (part 14)

Dear Vladimir Vladimirovich,

I was following Russian news today and I saw an injured, broke down man in hospital, Mr. G. Sarkisyan, who simply protected his family in his own home, women and children, from intrusion of 4 armed bandits.
He was the only man in house and he put his life on line to protect his baby grandson held at gunpoint and the rest of the people in the house.
He managed to give criminals justice they deserve with only kitchen knife.
That's is a miricle right there.
Not only in any civilized country shouldn't be any consideration for prosecuting anyone like that, but he should be reworded for bravery. Give him a medal of honor for bravery and let him become a community instructor for youngsters. he should teach others how to protect their families and neighborhoods. We have those type of programs in America in certain states approved by government and people involved in it are allowed to carry guns legally. You call it "druzhinnik" in Russian. The time I was there they didn't have a gun. Policema also didn't have.
Every man should be like him - be able to protect his family.
May God give him rapid recovery and return him back to his family.
Authorities also should catch one of the bandits, who broke loose.

Best regards.

From America With Love (part 13)

Dear Vladimir Vladimirovich,

Congratulation on your election to the post of Presidency of Russian Federation.
May God give you strength, good health and vision to guide it to better future and serve its people with
dignity, respect and consideration it truly deserves.
You organized an election equipped with technology to show the world what was going on. I watched it.
It was unprecedented and phenomenal. I haven't seen it in my country of USA.
Hope we will copy you.
I saw your tears. Everyone in the world saw. It showed your humanity, humility and pride.
You have soul, that's important.
Hope you continue to keep Russia safe and its reputation high.
Russian nation is a hard working, educated and cultured nation and should be one of the top in the world by not only numbers of GDP, but by standards of contemporary life and most importantly happiness.
Happiness and prosperity to all Russians, no matter who they voted for, in coming years.
From America with love.
