From America With Love (part 20)

Mr. Putin,

It was heartwarming to see the march for protection of orphans in Russia couple of days ago. Although being an American I'm a little ambivalent about cutting all USA adoptions short for Russian kids (lots of them found good homes and and there are bed parents in Russia also), but I believe Russia can do a good job itself. I feel that Mr. M. Prokhorov's financial initiative helped the movement. He has been a Godsend in this.
Russia has all resources to protect childhood of every kid. I wish I could help with something.
First of all, adoptions shouldn't be secretive. It should be promoted, heralded and supported in every way.
Russians should get the first priority, if qualified. Those marches should became permanent and routine.
You should be in every one of them also. I'll look forward to see your concrete plans on this.

Best regards.
