I couldn't write for too long. Every time I was ready to say something, I saw another disaster striking Russia. Problems were continuous. Victims of huge brush-fires were in my mind and prayers all this time.
Finally good news came; a few days ago I watched on TV last victims opened doors of their new homes. And homes were beautiful.
I've got tearful again, but at this time from joy. I was as happy as people who were there or related to them, although I never knew any of them.
This gave me emotional strength to write again.
What amazed me was the way it was organized, managed and monitored with surveillance that public could follow on Internet. WOW to that! This never happened before.
This is New Russia, indeed. Right there - for the world to see.

The interpreter wasn't good, that's for sure. I watched 2 times on CNN, saw only 10 min. clip on Russian TV and couldn't find entire interview in Russian.
You were clear by saying that you suppose to protect your country's borders and the backyard. Of course, backyard is essential, it's the buffer zone, who doesn't know that, the interviewer? In NY state there is 15 days jail sentence for trespassing a private property - the backyard included.
Some say bordering Ukraine, Georgia, Poland and others are not your properties. That's true, but they're still IN your backyard. Confusing words and ideas are created to check the person's reaction and take things from there.
No one in the world, I assume, thinks that you're weak on anything, but by overusing nice words in today's global politics can poison lots of new and upcoming places, such as Russia. Among those words most often used are "help," "democracy," "human rights," "civil rights," "equal opportunity" etc.
What is wrong with them? Most people they'll say "nothing, they're all good."
The danger is that the most of the world is not educated.
Residents of few educated nations do understand the value of those words.
They chose them, worked to implement them in their lives and built policies on them.
Originally they were used for good reasons and were much needed.
But here and now, believe it or not, came the time that those good words and their practical implementations are being used by fraudsters, criminals and traders.
The long term overuse and abuse of policies based on them today are causing dangerous side effects. Habitual useful idiotism and compliance to forces of crowds is becoming equal to not refusing taking a poison in order to fit in.
The character of a "good person" is portrayed as the one who is stupid, silent and goes with herd.
After using something for too long, loosing supervision and control, not stopping and curing the damage, side effect will bring the demise. I see some signs of it in the US. My feeling is that Russia by compromising blindly, adjusting and banding over beck-words to world's political pressures, is going to compromise its immune system as a nation. Your identity which comprised of your culture, language, religion, heritage, history, character, mentality as a nation will be lost.
Because I'm a nurse, let me bring an example to make this simple. If one has a foot pain and taking a medication that has already known side effect of loosing memory, causing brain damage, would any one in their mind take a chance? No matter how severe the foot pain may be. I don't even think that Russia has a foot pain and needs a cure. We can survive with one foot, one arm, one kidney, but we can't survive without memory. Brain damage is fatal. We're all our memories. Our past, education, knowledge, skills, instincts, intellect, common sense are stored in there. Without it we're bag of nothing. Not a thing.
Now, to tell Russia to do the same that Europe does, because it is smarter, richer, more powerful or what the heck is it that I can't personally find worth following, looks absolutely troublesome to me. Russia has no pain which needs cures imported from Europe, it's doing just fine. You have some brilliant economists and businessmen working hard and creating wealth. New projects will create jobs. Putting new ideas to work will rejuvenate the economy like those Russian hot baths rejuvenate the person.
I'm not talking about trades and business, I'm referring to ideology only. You can buy merchandise, that's fine. Just don't let them come in.
As far as I'm concerned Russia got nothing to learn from Europe. Not a thing. Not even one. If you want to tell me, please do so. You vouch for Europe, I vouch for Russia. Convince me that you need something from them and can't do without it. Let's debate.
You'll see that you need new very strict laws to keep your religion, language and culture safe to preserve your identity. Also keeping public from spread of HIV and AIDS.
United States of America has his own immune system, it's a different animal, it's a different fruit, it's a different plant, it's a different system of governance. People have different mentality and expectations from their government, than Russians.
Mind is the most powerful thing. Criminals who brought those buildings down in New York didn't have weapons, they had only bad intentions.
You can have all the nukes and bombs in the world (which you're not going to use anyway, but that's another topic)and be deteriorated from within. Outside enemies can't defeat Russia unless Russia is poisoned from within.
"Liberalism" is the poison your enemies will export to Russia and pressure you to take it. As a seasoned politician you know poison when you see it, I'm sure, they know that too, so they'll come with a sugar coated pills which have those above mentioned nice words "civil society," "rights," "freedoms" and others attached to them and offer you for your foot pain, so you get sedated and enter to their perverted sick world with a pleasant feeling in your legs. You'll feel you're flying, you're one of them now, finally, happy hour is here... They will meet and greet you with bow-tie and tuxedo and congratulate you.
All those unwashed Europeans who already lost their countries to their enemies in peaceful times will make you believe that you've got something good for you.
BUT...

Mr. Putin, every time I see a liberal talking, I hear these underlying words and see all the sick side effect in society all around me. They prey on moral, decent, educated, responsible and successful people and try to compromise everyone's common sense with psychopathic thoughts by using very innocent and nice sounding words. They harm us every day and live off of us. They'll tell you that the woman who brings a child to this world and throws in the garbage is as good as the one who picks him up and raises him. They'd say "they're both humans, they look the same, eat the same way, like the same candy. They'll show you photos and ask "what's the difference" until you lose your logic and thought process. They'll do this on your entire national media every minute of every day, 24/7 and 365, until start selling antidepressants, until you stop noticing that even you afraid of having an opinion, that your entire nation is doped up, drugged up, perverted and infected. And, thus, finished! You'll have lots of buildings on the streets and cars on the roads full of sick people in 3D.
In reality people are very different spices, they just look the same. Look at the Bible, full of atrocities. It's from the real life, tough. Can you argue with it? I came to this conclusion this year finally very clearly and I'm pretty grown up. All those years I struggled too; how can I say humans are not the same?

Liberals are not liberal about "allowing" you to have your own convictions or believes, or religion, oh, no, they're only for hard drugs, kinky sex and those sick side affects. If not happy or satisfied they will sue you to destroy you or attack you psychically to kill you. Check my words, hold me responsible, let me show you to prove you. On TV, Radio, your Parliament, anywhere you want to to talk about this, I'm ready!
They're already in Russia FORCING and SHOVING it down to your nation's throat. English pervert has a shop there, was psychically attacking former mayor of Moscow, it was on TV. They'll desecrate your religious sites, destroy school system, belittle you in your own country, force kids out of their homes through children's programming on TV. Yes, they'll use toys, stuffed animals, who will talk perversion. One famous one is already there, being translated into Russian.
Do not blame America on this. It came from Europe and it's worse in there.
Western Europe is terminally ill and can not be rehabilitated. It became the victim of its own leftism. Give me a chance to prove it to you in factual, evidence based conversation one on one or on live TV.

There is no Napoleon, Garibaldi or any other can come out of their graves to save it.
America shows symptoms of sickness, but has smart people, should they gain power and influence to provide the cure, it will still survive.

Now, would it be good for Russia that America will suffer and somehow go away, disappear maybe?

For 200 years this country opened its arms to people from around the world who were looking for something better. If USA would not exist, Europe would be more crowded and would have had more wars throughout last 2 centuries.
Why am I saying these things? Don't I think that you know already? I think you do, but maybe you'd disagree somewhere. I'd love to know. We must have open and honest dialogue from both side. It is not happening now. If it does somewhere somehow, it's miniscule, it doesn't show, it's not nearly enough.
With all the progress made, Russian TV stations are interviewing people who badmouth America from both sides of the ocean. It's in their subconscious, inertia, old habit or agenda, who knows?
I haven't seen any American conservative talk show host from the press, TV or Radio, author, activist, commentator, journalist, blogger, a patriotic person who is proud of this country to be given a platform to talk on Russian media.
What is Russian media afraid of?
Mr. Putin, Russia has nothing to fear from America. Some of your close neighbors are using America to get free money, but by becoming enemies with next door neighbor like you, they're only endangering their lives and harming the future of their children.
If America would be poor, they'd not bother to be friends with it. You know it, I know it and most decent and educated part of the population of this country knows it.
American media is 80% dominated by liberals, who are only 20% of the population. It centralized and monopolized under a few like minded with liberal agenda and bad attitude.
American media doesn't have the "democratic" structure of distributing news and commentary. That's why you might not be able to find out what is really going on here.
If you'd go by the term that you expressed by determining democracy on Larry King, you would categorize it as "non-democratic."
